The featuring Grand Prix photo book “Racing Pictorial Series by HIRO” Vol. 26,
is featuring the favorite machine of Jim Clark in the 1960s, the Lotus 49.
Although the Lotus 49 had already been introduced in Vol. 12 “GOLDEN LEAF TEAM
LOTUS”, this volume is focusing on the 1st generation Type 49, which is in the
British Racing Green and Yellow stripe, with the revolutionary Cosworth DFV
engine in this 3 litre formula era. Also including rare and precious pictures
before the turning point of Joe Honda himself, Jim Clark and Team Lotus in Japan
Indy 200 miles in Japan, and the Type 48 at F2 Race in 1967 (driven by Clark and
Hill). To Clark, 1967 is the fastest year that Type 49 can run with overwhelming
power, after the lost in Hockenheim ring. Please also pay attention to the
