The Weekly Gripe!

The email account for comments  dailygripe@macsmodeling.com especially for anyone to send their "Gripe" to me, and I will put it up along with your name, unless you want to be anonymous. I have been asked to make a place for responses, so I'm going to add them at the bottom of gripes.

 

Although the site is limited to F1 models the "Weekly Gripe" is open to everything in the World.

 

I'm back to Fuel (Petrol, Gas) prices around the World

FUEL for Thought!

Government and Oil Company excuses, and "Tree Huggers"

 

Right off the bat I'm pi$$ed off at the "Tree Huggers", and so should everyone be, when it comes to Fuel prices, followed closely by The Oil Companies and then Governments. For the reasons read on.

 

There is no shortage of crude oil in the USA, in fact we have plenty, more than enough for many years, but we cannot use it to it's fullest extent because there are not enough refineries to process it. So why not build more refineries you ask? "TREE HUGGERS!" They are to blame in the first place for this. Don't get me wrong, they do some good things for the World, (I am sure not all of them drive Hydrogen or electric cars, have sail boats or just ride bikes.) they need to back off of this one and the Oil Companies need to lobby against them. The effect is Domino! Everything goes up in price! Then what do you know................we can't afford to buy it (whatever IT is!) so we need a pay raise.............................Ooops! Can't do that unless we lay people off. And so it goes....................................... AND IS GOING!

 

The "Fill your tank early in the morning" is not saving you as much as new refineries will! And the ".......................buying from "other" Oil Companies" does not work either, because they increase their prices to match the rest, So who is worst here?!?!

 

Refineries are REALLY dirty, I agree, I have worked on them years ago. However, If the Oil Companies stopped saying they are spending their PROFITS on alternative fuel exploration/studies and spent some of it on Cleaner, Environmentally friendly, Refineries and lobby against the Tree Huggers, and the Governments backed the Oil Companies, then more refineries could be built, local crude oil can then be processed and sold cheaper.

 

So, Tree Hugger's, don't just try to prevent/stop something because you think it's not environmentally friendly! Use your lobbying powers to make Oil Companies find ways of creating cleaner refineries. You are part of this World as well!!! Use some of your financial resources in solving problems, not stopping one and creating another!!

 

Oil Companies get off your "VERY PROFITABLE High Horse" and get your financially fat ARSE's in gear! Start doing something for the people that are making you all this profit!!!

 

Governments, get your Chicken $hit arse's off your comfy sofa's and DO SOMETHING!!! Mmm! Like give back the bribes/stop taking bribes! You are supposed to look after the people you Govern, not Crap on them!!! Stand up and be counted as FOR the People! Issue embargo's!

 

Instead, we have Governments that are WHIMPS! In as much as they will not step in and tell OPEC to reduce the cost of crude per barrel or face embargo's. Tell the Oil Companies to spend their resources responsibly, and keep the Tree Huggers at bay, by giving in on something else or actually get involved constructively. It is so easy to do nothing, but it does not require that much more effort to DO SOMETHING!

 

I believe the result would be reduced cost of Crude oil. Then OPEC countries could/would be forced to reduce the price of their crude oil to the rest of the world.

 

Some of the OPEC countries, will run out of crude within the next 10 years, they are not helping the price of crude, because they are spending all their revenues from it to build exotic vacation spots and sell off parts, before their crude runs out. Smart on their part, DUMB on the Oil companies and other Countries part, in going along with it.

 

OPEC reduced the amount of barrels of crude to maintain a high price in the past, so how is it now that they have increased the barrel production and keep increasing the price!?!?

 

Surely there are more people in the world than me that see this! And if I do there must be people in power around the world that understand this as well. We are rapidly heading to destruction of an economy we have all come complacent about.

 

Oil/Fuel is not the "Be all and End all" of everything, but it does have a MAJOR effect on everything we do/want/eat/wear and buy!

 

This is my way of getting some thoughts out there world wide. If you want to "Copy and Paste" this and send it via email to anyone you know, feel free.

 

There needs to be a natural flow of life and Nature (Humans being part of that), we need to live and die as everything else, don't waste money on finding cures to really bad disease's, that's natures way of thinning us out. Have you noticed for every disease cured another even worse comes along?!?  We found Oil and use it, and it's byproducts in all kinds of things. Spend money on finding cleaner ways to use this resource! It means a lot more to more people in the world than a cure for a couple of diseases.
