Instructions in English for applying
Dry Rub
Tire sidewall decals From F'artefice
1. Cut the individual
decal to be used from the sheet.
*Cutting close to the decal will make application easier
*The face of the decal has adhesive on it, avoid touching the decal
face during trimming.
*Leaving the clear film that covers the decal on while trimming the
decal is OK, however if pressure is applied to the portion of the film directly
over the decal the film may adhere to the decal and become difficult to remove,
so be careful!
2. Remove dirt and oil
from the tire.
3. If the clear film
covering the decal was not removed during trimming, remove it now.
4. Place decal on tire so
that the logo is readable (in other words, not "reversed" or "mirror image").
*There is adhesive on the decal face, so press the decal down
lightly while placing on the tire.
5. With the decal in place
on the tire, apply water with a wet finger to the paper.
*Rub the paper gently when applying the water. Too much pressure
will cause the decal to slip out of place.
6. After about 1 minute,
peel the paper backing off the decal.
*Do not pull too hard, or the decal may be pulled off the tire!
7. Carefully blot away
excess water.
